Diagnosing an Audi A6 Allroad Quattro with a dropped suspension problem. I locate a burnt Self-Leveling System Fuse S110 40A and a malfunctioning J403 relay for suspension compressor level control system. This relay fails along with the compressor and need to be replaced together. If you replace your suspension compressor on a Audi A6 Allroad C5 it is imperative that you replace the J403 relay for the suspension compressor. Also if your suspension compressor has failed, there is a good chance the S110 fuse also is bad and needs to be replaced. If you have an Audi S4, A8 or A6 with a 4.2 V8 with codes P1411 P1423 for secondary air insufficient flow this video maybe able to help you get started on your diagnostics. First, check your secondary air pump and the secondary air hoses this video shows you the common area the secondary air lines crack. It is always best to have an OBD scanner to clear the faults after performing a repair to give the on board diagnostics (OBD) system an opportunity to re-check itself.

Location of cigarette lighter, 12 volt socket fuse on a Audi A4 B8 2008. The location of the fuse box is, pull out the First Aid Kit indented panel on the passenger side of the trunk. I replaced the fuse to restore function to my 12 volt socket on my 2008 Audi A4 there are two fuses to check. This video will show you what two fuses I replaced when the cigarette lighter socket in the back also stopped working. This procedure has worked for for Audi A4 2008 to 2015. This video will help you diagnose code P0171, P2187 and P2279 on an Audi A4 with a 2.0T engine. This may be one cause of your issue but P0171 may refer to a lot of issues. In my case it was a bit easier to diagnose since I could not remove the oil cap while the car was running narrowing down the issue to a crankcase ventilation problem. I replaced the crankcase vent valve and the issue was fixed. It is especially hard to diagnose a P0171 with a generic scanner since in my case when using a dealer level tool the codes were completely different, the stored codes were P2187 – 008583 Bank 1 System too Lean at Idle and P2279 – 008825 Leak in Air Intake System.
