In this video I show a DIY diagnosis I did on my mass airflow issue with my 2003 BMW X3 M54 , not starting. As a for warning if you do not have a scan tool unhooking the mass air flow sensor will activate the check engine light, but if you are in an extreme situation this maybe a temporary solution. If your rear suspension is down or leaning on a BMW X5 2007-2013 this video may help you fix your car. It is common on BMW X5 2007 to 2013 to have leaky rear suspension airbags. This causes the compressor to work a lot harder this creating higher draw. The higher draw from the compressor wears it out and may potentially blow the fuse as seen in this video. I advise to start with this to diagnose your issue. It is important to watch the whole video, in addition to changing the air suspension compressor you need to remove the fuse for the suspension computer and put it back in so that the car reset the ride height. This is a trick to reset the air compressor computer to raise your BMW X5 E70. Please feel free to ask me questions if you have this issue or any other car issue.
When changing the battery on a BMW 5 Series E60 or E61, in order for the alternator to work properly. The battery adaptation process must be carried out via software. This is also the same menu which allows deactivation of Transport Mode on a BMW. This Please share if you have done this when replacing the battery on a BMW 5 series or plan on doing so, thanks.
If you jump start your MINI or BMW your footwell module may have stopped working. Issues commonly associated with a faulty footwell module are, unable to switch off lights, lights not working or headlights always stay on. Other indicators of a faulty footwell module include windows not working, sunroof not working, mirrors not working and central locking system not working or no communication with the OBD2 scanner. This repair applies to BMW models E90, E91, E92, E81, E82, E84, E87, E70, E71, E72 and MINI COOPER models R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60, R61.
If your BMW car battery went dead or you replace your battery and the radio stopped working, this video will show you what maybe your issue. The first thing you want to do is check your radio fuses, if your fuses are all good, you need to check whether the radio is in transport mode and turn off transport mode. First thing to check when your BMW E46 convertible top is not working. Other things you may want to check once a year to maintain functionality in your soft top is the fluid at the pump. Also remember to close your doors, have the car in PARK, put your emergency brake on and have the car running. Not all those steps are necessary but having the car running when operating the soft top is good for maintaining battery health and preserving the pump.
