Jaguar X-Type Jaguar S-Type No Heat

My experience with Jaguar S-Type or Jaguar X-Type with no heat. To restore heat in this Jaguar S-type, I had to address the coolant leak and replace the coolant thermostat. You may have other issues as to why you do not have heat in your Jaguar S-Type or Jaguar X-Type, such as a clogged heater core, bad duo heater valve, thermostat, auxiliary water pump or a coolant leak. Please share your experience with diagnosing your Jaguar S-type or Jaguar X-type with no heat, thanks.

Location and How to Change Battery Jaguar XKR – XK

This video show the location of the battery on a Jaguar XKR and Jaguar XK. I have undo the bottom bracket being held by two 10 mm bolts and once I had that off you can remove the 2 nuts holding the bottom part of the battery at about 0:27 you can see the 2 nuts, on the left, one of the 2 bolts to get the bottom bracket out. It is important to match up the proper numbers when replacing the battery. This vehicle unlike many required that I purchase the battery from the Jaguar dealer since no other source carried the proper battery.

P0171 P0174 Jaguar S Type (1999-2007)

How I diagnosed trouble codes P0171 and P0174 on a 2006 Jaguar S-type. As a tip most Jaguar parts are not available immediately, in this case, you can substitute the Jaguar part with a part for a Lincoln LS part number 3W4Z-6767-CA. Most local parts store have Lincoln LS part in stock. If you want to get the original part it is a breather hose, also make sure to order new intake manifold gaskets when doing this job to avoid leaks. Please subscribe if this video helped you and share your experience with this issue, thanks!
