How to reset service indicator on a VW Jetta 2019 to 2022, with analog display. This reset procedure works for resetting inspection now, oil change now and oil change service and inspection now reminders. Please make sure to perform your schedule services in accordance with your owners manual before you reset your service indicator Procedure to reset service reminder: 1. Switch ignition OFF. 2. Press and hold the 0.0 button in the lower center of the instrument cluster. 3. While holding the 0.0 button, switch the ignition ON (not starting the car) continue to hold the 0.0/Set button, till reset oil change service appears. 4. Let go of the 0.0 quickly while the question is displayed, and lastly press the 0.0 button one more time to confirm the reset. The instrument cluster may take a few engine starts or small drive to show new values. Often times it happens after cycling the engine on and off a few times.

VW Golf GTI 12V Fuse Cigarette Lighter Fuse Mk6 (2008-2013)

Location of cigarette lighter, 12 volt socket fuse on a VW Golf GTI 2012. Fuse 42 is responsible for both the front cigarette lighter and rear 12 volt. This video will show you what fuse I replaced when the cigarette lighter socket in the luggage compartment also stopped working. This procedure has worked for VW Golf VI 2008 to 2013. VW TDI P0299 Turbo Underboost Code

Diagnostic code P0299 stored on a VW TDI first thing I check are these vacuum lines. These are some of the common vacuum areas that are bad, it is important to check all the braided lines including the one leading to turbo and the N75 valve. Sometimes just a visual inspection of these lines can be misleading as the slit maybe very small, best practice is top use a vacuum gauge. -If you have P0299 on a Golf or Jetta with 2.0L TDI check the exhaust valve control module -J883 for seizing or if it’s binding in the . -If you have P0299 on a newer 1.9 TDI check vacuum supply line from the vacuum reservoir located at the valve cover. – If you have P0299 stored on Audi 2.0 TFSI with P0299 first check the Boost Pressure Control Valve (N249), as this was a known common problem. – If you have P0299 stored on Audi 09 to 2012 with engine code CAEB, Google search, turbocharger excessive waste gate play engine CAEB.
