Once I accessed the control module I went into coding and proceeded to change the coding to disable the seatbelt chime and indicator on my VW Jetta. Please share if the procedure worked for your and if not what you did different, thanks. This procedure should work for VW Jetta, VW Golf and VW Passat 2006-2020.
This video will explain the difference in basic version and premium version of VW Jetta MFI display. The basic version does not allow to change from Fahrenheit to Celsius, while the premium VW Jetta MFI allows to change in the settings/units area. This is how to reset the maintenance service reminder on a 2017 VW Jetta. In this video I will be resetting the oil change reminder, it can show up with as OIL or Oil Change Now! I have also been told that this has worked for the INSPEC indicator on a VW Jetta, please share in comments if it does. This is the procedure: 1. Switch ignition OFF. 2. Press and hold the 0.0/Set button in the instrument cluster on the lower right side of the speedometer. 3 Switch the ignition ON ( not starting the car) continue to hold the 0.0/Set button. 4. Let go of the 0.0/Set button and press the button on the lower left side of the speed, which is the clock setting button.

In this video I share my fix and experience with a VW Volkswagen Tiguan that has a hood that won’t open, due to a deteriorated hood release lever. This is a common latch on VW cars. I have seen a lot of people experience this issue on the VW Tiguan, lubricating the part tends to solve the issue. I did use a random hard flat object to assist me with opening the hood. You may also want to lubricate it with something before closing. Please share your experiences, thanks.
