In this video I show a DIY diagnosis I did on my mass airflow issue with my 2003 BMW X3 M54 , not starting. As a for warning if you do not have a scan tool unhooking the mass air flow sensor will activate the check engine light, but if you are in an extreme situation this maybe a temporary solution. Please what codes and issues you are experiencing with your first generation BMW X3 M54 E53 and maybe I can share some of my experience, thanks.
