This procedure works across many models of the VW Jetta, Passat, CC, Golf and GTI and requires the software and laptop to perform the INSPEC reset procedure. This is how to reset the maintenance service reminder on a 2017 VW Jetta. In this video I will be resetting the oil change reminder, it can show up with as OIL or Oil Change Now! I have also been told that this has worked for the INSPEC indicator on a VW Jetta, please share in comments if it does. This is the procedure: 1. Switch ignition OFF. 2. Press and hold the 0.0/Set button in the instrument cluster on the lower right side of the speedometer. 3 Switch the ignition ON ( not starting the car) continue to hold the 0.0/Set button. 4. Let go of the 0.0/Set button and press the button on the lower left side of the speed, which is the clock setting button.
